On the heels of Microsoft's article which we wrote about, the Zoom CEO bylined an article with his tips to maintain sanity. I really liked the concept of a 'No Internal Meetings' day, which I had heard about earlier too. Many companies that operate out of San Francisco (like Salesforce.com), used this approach to allow employees to work from home once a week.
I also really liked Eric's (or really his COO's) idea for screen breaks and power naps. Even before Covid-19, I used workrave to remind me of not getting too absorbed into my work. Its a great piece of software and absolutely free.
The power nap part is tempting and I have heard of the benefits of the Siesta, but it just seems a bit of a stretch for us Americans. Perhaps, Eric would change that as well over the years!
